Transfronterizo

El cuerpo como geografía y territorio. 

Utilizo el cuerpo como territorio para explorar conceptos de migración, frontera, unidad y humanidad. Para ello construyo nuevos mapas a través del simple acto de colocar cuerpos juntos.

Unificando a través de la piel lo que fue separado por rayas de colores sobre papeles, lo que conocemos como mapas con sus fronteras.  Fragmentando a la humanidad y con ello las consecuencias derivadas de esta rotura como es la violencia y el conflicto.

Aprovecho para recordar que el agua fluye libre por la tierra.

The body as geography and territory.

I use the body as a territory to explore concepts of migration, border, unity, and humanity. I build new maps through the simple act of placing bodies together.

Unify through the skin what was separated by colored stripes on paper, maps with their borders. Fragmenting humanity creates violence and conflict.

I take this opportunity to remind you that water flows freely through the land.
